How to Breed a Berrie??
.:Breeding Season: [Currently Closed]
To breed a berrie breeding season needs to be open. Berries aren't like other plants they only grow certain times of the year.
When the breeding season opens, each waja account will have (2) breeding slots available. A breeding slot is used when a breeding combination is submitted via the guild forum. Breeding slots are per account not berrie, so if you'd like to submit the same berrie multiple times that's perfectly fine. There are no cooldowns or wait times for berries you can submit the same berrie for multiple breed combinations simultaneously.

Breeding Item: Soils
The next requirement for a new berrie to flourish is soil. Similarly to how wajas need to use a love pear for every breeding request every breeding request for a berrie requires soil. This is a one use item and will be removed from your inventory count when your breeding request is processed. There are several soil mixtures, each one will create a different result.
Mature Berrie
Next you'll need mature berries. Berries are born as Seedlings, then they grow to Berrie Sprouts, and eventually mature to fully grown berries. The time it takes for your berrie to grow depends on their rarity:

- Seedlings: Have no physical features of your berrie, but they will display the leaf color, topping color, and base color
- Berrie Sprouts: Will show the leaf, horn, ears, mouth, blush, and simple coloring.
- Mature Berrie: All features will be visible and your berrie will be ready for breeding when season begins.
.Berrie Combinations
Once you have (2) mature berries and season is open you can begin breeding. You can combine any two berries you'd like to create new berries. There is currently no lineage tracking and no restrictions on "inbreeding" it's up to each individual how they'd like to breed their berries.

So how do berries combine? What determines the outcomes? Outcomes will be randomly generated based on the (2) berries submitted. There are two major components for berries breeding mechanics Rarity and appearance. Each one will work differently. First let's discuss rarity inheritance.
Rarity Chance
Berries come with 4 different rarities. Breeding will always produce at least a Rarity 2 berrie. You can breed lower level berries to higher level berries for a chance to increase the next generation's level.
