Eye Color PickingEyes are relatively simple right now. All berrie eyes use a single color the other colors are automatically matched. To pick the eye color. All berries have eyes it's required right now. More eye options may be available at a later date.
Eye Color BlendingAll berries have one eye color it will be a simple blend. Eye color 1 x Eye color 2

Blush Mark Color Picking
To make berries compatiable with each other when blending blush marks only (2) colors will be considered.
1. Blush Main Color: This is the large circular spot that berries commonly have. Not every berrie's main blush mark is a circle, some can have other simple shapes (examples: skulls, hearts, stars, etc).
2. Blush Secondary Color: The secondary mark will come into play if your berry has multi-colored objects over the main blush mark. Objects that are single colored (Whiskers, hearts, stars) will automatically be matched to the main blush mark color. Let's go over some examples

Examples
Example 1: Picking Strawberrie's Colors
1. Blush Main Color: Strawberrie has circle spot blush this will supply the main color mark. 2. Blush Secondary Color: Take the main color from the multi-colored object. Minor elements will be automatically colored to match the overall palette. The secondary color target is the strawberry icon, even though it's green and red the main color is red. We will take the main color of the object. The color picked is red. |
Example 3: Picking Citrine's Colors
1. Blush Main Color: Citrine is tricky her blush marks match her accent color. It's hard to see because her accent marking is very light. You can pick her color from the circular blush mark. The color picked is soft yellow. 2. Blush Secondary Color: Take the main color from multi-colored icon. Minor elements will be automatically colored to match the overall palette. The secondary color target is the lemon icon, even though it's green and yellow the main color is yellow. We will take the main color of the object. The color picked is yellow |
Blush Mark Blending
The rules for combining blush mark will go as follows:
- Both parents have Main Color & Secondary Clor. Combine both colors
- One parent has Main Color & Secondary Color. Other parent has only one color. Mix Main and secondary using blush color available.
- One parent has no main color & no secondary color. The baby will not have blush marks
Examples
Seedling Result:
- Possibility 1 Inherit Parent 1 Blush: Color will mix light purple and light blue. Shape inherited will be circle with squiggles
- Possibility 2 Inhere Parent 2 Blush: Color will mix light purple and light blue. Shape inherited skulls.
Seedling Result:
- Possibility 1 inherit Parent 1 Blush: Main color mix pink and light blue, secondary color mix red and light blue. Shape inherited main blush circle with strawberry icons.
- Possibility 2 Inherit Parent 2 blush: Main color mix pink and light blue. Shape inherited small hearts.
Leaf Color Picking
There's a lot of variation here. So, I think the best option is to mix only the actual leaf color. The other colors will be generated from the seedlings accent, base, and topping color palette. The leaf options currently without a leaf to pick are the following:
- Mushroom Leaf: Use the stem color
- Mushroom Cap Rarity 3: Use the mushroom cap color
- Bottle Leaf: Use the cap color
- Nigiri Leaf: Use the seaweed color
Leaf Blending
The rules for combining leaf colors will go as follows:
- If Both berries have a leaf then combine leaf colors
- If Both berries have a mushroom then combine mushroom stem colors
- If one berrie has a mushroom and one berrie has a leaf combine the mushrooom stem and leaf color.
Accent Color Picking
Accents are single color. Most berries have an accent, but some berries don't have accent colors shall we call them markless berries or maybe even naked berries XD. For "naked berries" use the base color as the accent color for blending purposes.
Bean & Minka are both Naked berries but they are just as bright and colorfull as other berries :D
Accent Color Blending
The rules for combining accent colors will go as follows:
- If both berries have accent color then combine accent colors
- If one berrie does not have an accent color combine the base color for the naked berrie and the accent color of the other berrie.
- If both berries have no accent color then no accent color is needed for the seedling.
Topping Color Picking
Berrie toppings can be colored using the base color, accent color and the topping color. So be careful when pulling the topping color. Some berries only use the base and accent color in those cases use the accent color as the topping color.
Topping Color Blending
The rules for combining topping colors will go as follows:
- If both berries are tri-colored combine the corresponding topping colors.
- If one berrie berrie is tri-colored and the other berrie has two colors. Then combine the topping color of the tri-colored berrie and accent color of the duo-colored berrie
- If one berrie is tri-colored and the other berrie has one color. Then combine the topping color of the tri-colored berrie and the base color of the single colored berrie.
Base Color Picking & Blending
This should be pretty straight forward every berrie has a base color :D
Special Slot Item Blending
Special slot items if they are not colorable, they will be inherited as is from the parent. If colorable they will be automatically colored from the seedlings base, accent and topping color.
Blending Method
First off big thanks to lulululuqtqtq (#103418) for the suggestion of using the HSL Color Blender. We want out berries to be virbrant and colorful :D with that said when blending colors we will be using the HSL Color Blender.
For consistency we will always use the 5th color down and the 6-digit alpha numeric hex code. That way the order of the parent won't change the results

Breeding Example
Let's go through an example of how the entire breeding process will work. Let's start with a breeding between Strawberrie and Jordgubbe. They are both rarity 4 berries, the seedling will randomly inherit one of the special slot items in this scenario the Christmas bow was inherited it is not a colorable item it will always be red.
Step 1 (Strawberrie will Generate Seedling Toppings):
I will generate a sequence to randomly pick toppings from the parent berries to pass on to the seedling berrie.

Random Inheritance:
Jordgubbe1. Leaf

Step 2 (Strawberrie will Create a Color Mixing Request Form):
Using this form I will let the mixing team know what color slots I need and also give some guidance on where to grab the colors from on the parent berries. I will fill in this form:
───♥─────────────

Step 3 (Mixing Team will blend the colors using the guidelines):

I don't need to see your work on how you mixed the colors I won't have time to check everything. I just need the final result for each color slot.
